The Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) basketball nipped the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 36-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils (11-0) will now prepare for their test against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings go into the test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, South Iredell was tipped by Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 67-40, in a league test.

The Ragin' Bulls now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Hickory Ridge will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-40 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-0.
