Arizona High School Basketball - Alhambra trounced by Browne

The Browne Bruins routed the visiting Alhambra Lions basketball team by a final score of 72-33 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Maryvale Panthers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Metro contest, on Tuesday, January 9. Browne will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 47-39 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM).

The Lions (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs come into the 6A Metro contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, North was routed by West Point (Avondale, AZ), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
