The Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) basketball nipped the host Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), 56-51 in Saturday's league test.
The Red Storm (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans go into the AA South test with a 5-3 record.
The Scots now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sanford for a AA South test on Tuesday, January 2. Bonny Eagle will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 60-32 non-league win over Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.
