In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Bradford Railroaders basketball team scored a good 56-40 triumph over the Covington Buccs.
In their next game, the Railroaders meet the Franklin Monroe Jets (Pitsburg, OH) in a Western Ohio match, on Friday, January 5. Bradford will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Jets enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Maumee Valley Country Day (Toledo, OH).
With the defeat, Covington moves to 3-5 on the year. The Buccs host Riverside (De Graff, OH) to meet the Pirates in a Three Rivers match on Friday, January 5. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 4-5. Riverside won 61-54 in their recent non-league match against Temple Christian (Lima, OH)
