The Machias Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Calais Blue Devils to 56 in the Bulldogs league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Narraguagus for a C North contest on Tuesday, January 2.

The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Lee Academy was nudged by Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME), 73-49, in a league contest.
