California High School Basketball - Corona holds off Ramona

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) and the host Ramona Rams (Riverside, CA), saw Corona's basketball squad hold off Ramona by a tally of 54-52.
With the victory, Corona improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Rams confront the Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Ramona will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 66-61 non-league win over Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA).
