Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Dallas can't hold off Wilkes-Barre

The Wilkes-Barre basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Dallas Mountaineers to 56 in the league triumph on Saturday.
The now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tunkhannock for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Wilkes-Barre will battle a Tigers team coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
The Mountaineers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans enter the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Wyoming Valley West was nudged by Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA), 58-44, in a league contest.
