The Sanford-Fritch Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Groom Tigers to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memphis for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Sanford-Fritch will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Guthrie (Guthrie, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 7-7.

The Tigers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was defeated by Hooker (Hooker, OK), 79-39, in a non-league contest.
