In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lambert Longhorns basketball team scored a decisive 84-57 triumph over the Jefferson Dragons.
In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Lambert will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record.
With the defeat, Jefferson moves to 11-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-7. Eastside won 65-62 in their recent non-league match against Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY)
