In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks basketball team scored a good 61-48 triumph over the Joliet West Tigers.
In their next game, the Blackhawks meet the Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. West Aurora will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 45-39 non-league loss to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
With the defeat, Joliet West moves to 9-6 on the year. The Tigers host Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to meet the Foxes in a SouthWest Prairie match on Friday, January 5. The Foxes enter the match with a record of 7-6. Yorkville lost 62-54 in their recent non-league match against Palatine (Palatine, IL)
