Ohio High School Basketball - Shelby can't hold off Lexington

The Shelby Whippets basketball team (Shelby, OH), was nudged 61-57 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH)

The Minutemen now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Holmes for a Ohio Cardinal battle on Friday, January 5. Lexington will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-27 league loss to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.

The Whippets (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Arrows come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record.
