In Saturday's league outing, the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) basketball squad beat the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), by a count of 49-35.
The Trojans (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Burlington-Edison defeated Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 71-32, in a league outing.
The Storm now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Mount Vernon for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Tuesday, January 2. Squalicum will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 84-66 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.
