Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host New London Wildcats (New London, OH), 57-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Mapleton (Ashland, OH) to play the Mounties in a Firelands bout on Friday, January 5. The Mounties come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Mapleton lost 78-39 in their recent league bout against Crestview (Ashland, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats play the South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Friday, January 5. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 60-48 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH).
