With the victory, Palacios improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Sharks host Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX) to play the Raiders in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Rice Consolidated won 44-36 in their recent league challenge against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Bracken Christian Warriors (Bulverde, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 6. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 64-30 league win over Concordia (Round Rock, TX).
