With the victory, Richwood improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Wossman (Monroe, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 14-2.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Vidalia will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 39-32 non-league win over Delhi Charter (Delhi, LA).
