St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA), 79-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Ignatius College Preparatory upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to play the Crusaders in a West Catholic bout on Thursday, January 4. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. University will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Bulls come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 70-61 non-league loss to Windward (Los Angeles, CA).
