Indiana High School Basketball - Blue River Valley overwhelmed by Union County

The Blue River Valley Vikings basketball team (Mt. Summit, IN), was routed 45-22 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN)

The Patriots now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Connersville for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Union County will battle a Spartans team coming off a 69-59 non-league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-7.

The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, Southwestern was routed by Union City (Union City, IN), 47-37, in a non-league battle.
