The Dufur Rangers basketball team (Dufur, OR), dropped 47-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR)
The Eagles now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallowa for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Thursday, January 4. Joseph will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-22 league win over Griswold (Helix, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 10-4.
The Rangers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR). The Redsides come into the 1A Big Sky battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, South Wasco County prevailed over Monument/Dayville (Monument, OR), 43-11, in a non-league battle.
