The Northern Highlands Highlanders basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Dumont Huskies to 27 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield Park for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 31. Northern Highlands will battle a Scarlets team coming off a 54-34 non-league win over Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Scarlets record now stands at 3-2.
The Huskies (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Waldwick was routed by Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
