The Grand Canyon Phantoms basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Greyhills Academy Knights to 6 in the Phantoms non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Phantoms now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Michael for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Grand Canyon will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Payson (Payson, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-8.

The Knights (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ). The Bruins enter the 2A North contest with a 5-6 record.
