In Saturday's league match, the visiting Marlin Bulldogs basketball team scored a decisive 109-29 triumph over the Hubbard Jaguars.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Marlin will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record.
