The New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), 61-46 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Rockets go into the AAAA Section 1 test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, John Marshall notched a victory over Hastings (Hastings, MN), 67-57, in a non-league test.
The Komets now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Winona for a AAA Section 1 test on Saturday, December 30. Kasson-Mantorville will encounter a Winhawks squad coming off a 60-32 league win over Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Winhawks record now stands at 8-1.
