The Paris Eagles basketball team (Paris, AR), was overwhelmed 60-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR)
The Hillbillies now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 battle on Thursday, January 4. Ozark will confront a Panthers team coming off a 61-45 league loss to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.
The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region 4 battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Booneville was overwhelmed by Lavaca (Lavaca, AR), 46-40, in a non-league battle.
