Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), saw Calvary Day School's basketball squad knock off Phoenix Academy by a count of 46-33.

With the victory, Calvary Day School upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Firebirds play the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Phoenix Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
