Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charlotte Catholic upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Charlotte Latin won 48-28 in their recent non-league bout against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC)

Next up, the Ragin' Bulls clash with the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Hickory Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
