The Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) basketball knocked off the host Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA), 53-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Miners (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Burbank (Sacramento, CA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Burbank went down by Roseville (Roseville, CA), 68-62, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatland for a test on Wednesday, January 3. Colfax will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 47-45 non-league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.
