Maine High School Basketball - Brewer knocks off Cony

December 30, 2024: Brewer, ME 04412

In Monday's league contest, the host Brewer Witches basketball team scored a good 58-41 win over the Cony Rams.

The Witches (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Cougars come into the A North contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Mt. Blue defeated Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 50-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Cony will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME).
