The Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks to 44 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rebels now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Beaufort Academy for a SCISA 2A Region III game on Tuesday, January 7. Thomas Heyward Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 72-26 non-league loss to Easley (Easley, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Colleton Prep Academy falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The War hawks host Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Indians go into the game with a record of 4-2. Orangeburg Prep won 60-43 in their recent non-league game against Dorchester Academy (St. George, SC)
