Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy fells Gorham

The Thornton Academy Trojans basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Gorham Rams to 49 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Noble for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Thornton Academy will confront a Knights team coming off a 63-37 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Knights record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Gorham falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-0. Windham won 75-55 in their recent league game against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME)
