In Monday's non-league contest, the host Westwood Patriots basketball team scored a big 66-37 triumph over the Gwinn Modeltowners.

The Patriots (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI). The Mountaineers go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Iron Mountain was trounced by Marquette (Marquette, MI), 67-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Modeltowners confront the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Gwinn will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 69-50 non-league loss to Green Bay West (Green Bay, WI).
