The Ledyard Colonels basketball squad (Ledyard, CT), was nudged 60-56 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT)

With the victory, Windham advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Whippets host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to meet the Lancers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Lancers enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Waterford lost 72-28 in their recent non-league battle against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT)

The Colonels now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Griswold for a Eastern Connecticut I battle on Friday, January 3. Ledyard will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 64-31 non-league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.
