In Monday's league contest, the host Spaulding Crimson Tide basketball team scored a close 67-61 triumph over the North Country Union Falcons.
The Crimson Tide (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Montpelier (Montpelier, VT). The Solons go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Montpelier nipped Harwood (Moretown, VT), 71-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. North Country Union will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 57-52 league loss to Harwood (Moretown, VT).
