Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA), 66-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 4-12 on the year. The Wildcats host Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA) to meet the Raiders in a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 0-11.

The Lions now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaFayette for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. Unity Christian will meet a Ramblers squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Ramblers record now stands at 8-4.
