Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Emerald Aerouants (Dublin, CA), saw Granada's soccer squad knock off Emerald by a count of 4-1.

The Matadors (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Falcons enter the battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Foothill tipped Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Aerouants battle the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 4. Emerald will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
