The Riverdale Academy Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting River Oaks Mustangs to 16 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rebels now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Side Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Riverdale Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 43-35 non-league win over Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, River Oaks falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Cougars in a MAIS 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-3.
