In Monday's non-league contest, the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers basketball team scored a good 67-59 triumph over the Bishop McCort Crushers.
The Hilltoppers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Crushers battle the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Bishop McCort will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
