In Monday's non-league contest, the host Palos Verdes Sea Kings basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Culver City Centaurs.
The Sea Kings (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chaminade (West Hills, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Chaminade was tipped by Crespi (Encino, CA), 78-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Centaurs confront the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) in a contest, on Monday, January 6. Culver City will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 80-18 league loss to Lawndale (Lawndale, CA).
