The Westbrook Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Ira Bulldogs to 32 in the Wildcats league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trent for a 1A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Westbrook will battle a Gorillas team coming off a 68-48 league loss to Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Gorillas record now stands at 2-8.

The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Trent (Trent, TX). The Gorillas come into the 1A Region II District 14 contest with a 2-8 record.
