The Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) basketball crushed the host MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), 72-42 in Saturday's league test.
The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Richardson walloped Pearce (Richardson, TX), 80-55, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Irving for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, January 3. MacArthur will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 63-45 league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-12.
