With the victory, Navasota improves its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to El Campo (El Campo, TX) to play the Ricebirds in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Ricebirds come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Tigers play the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Wharton will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 87-33 league loss to Royal (Brookshire, TX).
