Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Orono Riots (Orono, ME), 82-7 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Town upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to play the Trojans in a B North bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Mount Desert Island won 52-33 in their recent league bout against Hermon (Hermon, ME)

Next up, the Riots play the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a B North bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Orono will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 36-29 league loss to Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME).
