Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Cushing Academy knocks off Governor's Academy

The Cushing Academy Penguins ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the host Governor's Academy Governors to 1 in the Penguins non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Cushing Academy moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Penguins host Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. The Cardinals go into the contest with a record of 1-0.
The Governors now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rivers for a contest on Friday, January 6. Governor's Academy will face a Red Wings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Winchendon (Winchendon, MA). The Red Wings record now stands at 3-6.
