The Warriors (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings come into the 6A Region I District 8 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Lamar held off Haltom (Haltom City, TX), 40-39, in a league test.

The Colts (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Sam Houston was nipped by Bowie (Arlington, TX), 71-55, in a league test.
