Texas High School Basketball - Roscoe knocks off Bangs

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX) and the visiting Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), observed Roscoe's basketball team overcome Bangs by a margin of 62-53.

The Plowboys (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Bearcats come into the 2A Region I District 8 challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Ballinger defeated Winters (Winters, TX), 58-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Bangs will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 58-45 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, TX).
