Texas High School Basketball - Brewer overwhelms Saginaw

The Brewer Bears basketball squad scored 69 points and held the host Saginaw Rough Riders to 37 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Brewer upgrades its record to 12-12 on the year. The Bears host Granbury (Granbury, TX) to face the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 5 match on Friday, January 3. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 11-13. Granbury won 56-42 in their recent league match against Azle (Azle, TX)

The Rough Riders now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aledo for a 5A Region I District 5 match on Friday, January 3. Saginaw will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 63-44 league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 18-4.
