With the victory, San Saba advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Armadillos host Junction (Junction, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 2A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 9-5.

The Pirates now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction for a 2A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, January 3. Center Point will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 70-44 league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
