Texas High School Basketball - McLean victorious over Groom

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting McLean Tigers basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the Groom Tigers.

The Tigers (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hedley (Hedley, TX). The Owls go into the 1A Region I District 2 contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Hedley was toppled by Shamrock (Shamrock, TX), 81-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Lefors Pirates (Lefors, TX) in a 1A Region I District 2 contest, on Friday, January 3. Groom will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 61-39 league loss to White Deer (White Deer, TX).
