The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) and the host Manor Mustangs (Manor, TX), observed Vandegrift's basketball team overwhelm Manor by a margin of 69-24.

The Vipers (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos come into the 6A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Hutto was trounced by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 91-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Manor will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 65-39 league win over Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX).
