The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) and the visiting Post Antelopes (Post, TX), observed New Deal's basketball team knock off Post by a score of 67-56.

The Lions (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region I District 4 challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Tahoka dropped by New Home (New Home, TX), 68-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Antelopes encounter the Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Post will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Antelopes come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 84-33 league win over Ralls (Ralls, TX).
