The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) and the host Albany Lions (Albany, TX), observed Haskell's basketball team overwhelm Albany by a score of 60-25.

The Indians (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 10 challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Stamford trounced Eastland (Eastland, TX), 47-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Albany will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 47-8 non-league loss to Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX).
